Stayin Alive Pro-Life Training Workshop 2012

The Stayin’ Alive Pro-Life Summer Training Day is an annual pro-life event for the next generation that is held once a year in the North Island.

It features knowledgeable and informative speakers who present formation sessions on issues such as practical pro-life apologetics, understanding the media and political issues, as well as having a special focus on introducing you to some great pro-life resources and projects that you can adopt.

This year’s Pro-Life Summer Training Day features presentations from:

Dr. Paula Cummings, Dr. Joseph Hassan & Dr. Naomi Bell:
‘Abortion, the Hippocratic Oath & Modern Medicine’

Dr. Matt Flannagan:
‘Utilitarianism, Relativism & Abortion’

Carolina Gnad:
‘Post-abortion trauma’

Brendan Malone:
‘Abortion apologetics’

Mike Sullivan:
‘Eugenics and abortion’

Bob McCoskrie:
‘The media and the culture of life’

Sandra Martin:
‘What women in crisis-pregnancy need from us’

Greg Langton:
‘Captivating your culture with the culture of life’

Al Morgan:
‘Using the Internet to build a culture of life’

The Pro-Life Summer Training Day ends on Saturday evening with a shared dinner.

People come from all over New Zealand to attend the Stayin’ Alive Summer Training Day, and many lasting friendships have been formed amongst participants since the first Summer Training Day in 2009. It is an event where you will learn things, be challenged, and have the chance to talk the pro-life talk with lots of other equally passionate young pro-lifers.
