Stayin’ Alive Summer Workshop 2011
The Stayin’ Alive Summer Workshop is an annual weekend pro-life event.
It features knowledgeable and informative speakers who present formation sessions on issues such as practical pro-life apologetics, understanding the media and political issues, as well as having a special focus on introducing you to some great pro-life resources and projects that you can adopt.
Each formation session offers a short presentation followed by break-out sessions in small groups where the issues are discussed in more depth, or where practical tasks are completed by participants.
The Summer Workshop ends on Saturday evening with a shared dinner.
People come from all over New Zealand to attend the Stayin’ Alive Summer Workshop, and many lasting friendships have been formed amongst participants since the first Summer Workshop in 2009. It is an event where you will learn things, be challenged, and have the chance to talk the pro-life talk with lots of other equally passionate young pro-lifers.

When and where:
The 2011 Summer Workshop is being held at Grace Hall, 6 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu (just north of Wellington) on the 18th and 19th of November.
Registration starts at 6pm on Friday 18th November, and then Saturday sessions start again at 9am and run through to 7pm, followed by drinks and dinner together.
Participants need to arrange their own travel to and from the event. There is a train and bus service that runs from Wellington to the venue, or if you are flying from Auckland you can now fly directly to Paraparaumu airport on Air New Zealand (airport pick-ups and drop-offs MAY be available to participants, but there are no guarantees of this so it is best to try and make other arrangements if you are flying in from other parts of NZ). ***We will be posting train and bus information on this page soon***
To book your spot on the bus, first register to go to Stayin Alive, then flick an email to the team at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of the team will get back to confirm your seat! If you are unable to make this time, other transport options will be available, email us as soon as possible so that we can help get you down there!
Accommodation will be available for participants who need this, you will just need to email us and let us know ASAP if you need this. IMPORTANT: you need to bring your own sleeping bag/bedding and pillow!!!
