A Kansas jury has declared late-term abortionist George Tiller not guilty on 19 counts of performing illegal late-term abortions.
During closing arguments today, Assistant Attorney General Barry Disney made the case that, based on Tiller’s own notes and on his own words during the trial, he and abortionist Ann Kristin Neuhaus were financially affiliated, in violation of the law. Disney pointed to evidence and testimony that Tiller consulted on Neuhaus’ fee and approved the final amount. Disney reminded the jury that, on several occasions, Tiller referred to Neuhaus as working for him, and talked about her “joining” his organization.
“We must remember that these are the weakest charges that could have been brought by the state,” said Sullenger. “There were thirty criminal charges filed by former Attorney General Phill Kline, which were much stronger that were dismissed on jurisdictional grounds without having been considered on their merits.”
“The 19 charges that Tiller faces were only a small fraction of the illegal activity that we believe and have documented that occurs at Tiller’s Wichita abortion clinic.

Just after a jury in Sedgwick County, Kansas, returned not guilty verdicts in the criminal case against late-term abortionist George Tiller, the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts released to the public a petition it filed in December listing eleven allegations against Tiller’s license.
According to a statement released by the KSBHA, “Violations alleged include performing an abortion on a fetus that was viable without having a documented referral from another physician not legally or financially affiliated with him; unprofessional or dishonorable conduct or professional incompetency; and commitment of acts likely to deceive, defraud or harm the public.”
The KSBHA also indicated that the case they have filed against Tiller is independent from the criminal charges and will proceed in its own merits.
Rose is 20 years old, but she is already entering her fourth year of covert operation, as it were, exposing the underhanded — and, in some cases, potentially illegal — practices at abortion clinics run by Planned Parenthood. She has already made appearances on The O’Reilly Factor and Hannity’s America.
Posing as an underage pregnant girl, Rose has taken concealed audio and video equipment into these clinics. First, she makes sure the clinic personnel know she is underage and that the baby’s father is an older man, repeating his name clearly. By law, the clinic personnel must then notify the police that the alleged father has had sex with a minor.
But in every case, the counselors at Planned Parenthood have brushed aside the sexual abuse of a minor and failed to contact the police. The Arizona attorney general recently opened an investigation of a Tucson Planned Parenthood clinic based upon Rose’s footage.

Well, US website Onenewsnow.com, reported the following story last Wednesday…
Planned Parenthood ‘changing focus’ to medical abortions
American Life League has released a report on Planned Parenthood abortion facilities.
The report shows that while the number of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities has dropped, the taxpayer-funded abortion provider is simply “changing focus,” says Marie Hahnenberg, a researcher for American Life League.
“[We've] discovered that Planned Parenthood is increasing its number of facilities that perform medical abortions,” she notes, adding that they are performed through medication such as the dangerous abortion drug RU-486.
See if you can spot the similarities in these two stories.
Organizations that provide abortion advice and referrals could run TV and radio ads in Britain for the first time under proposed changes to the nation’s advertising codes.
The new rules also would allow condom ads to run earlier in the day – not just during evening programing, as is currently allowed. The condom ads could not run during programs designed to appeal to young children.
Relaxing the rules governing condom ads is intended to reduce Britain’s teen-pregnancy rate. Last month, a report said that teen-pregnancy rates in England and Wales rose the first time in five years.

Talk about losing the plot – what is going on in the UK?!
To think that promoting condoms to young children is going to do anything other than make their teen pregnancy rates worse (and most liklely create a child pregnancy rate) is just ludicrous.
It really does show how out of touch with reality the condom promoting sex education culture has become – “hey, it hasn’t worked yet, despite more than several decades of condom education, in fact our sexual health problems have got worse, so I think we should do more of the same, AND increase the audience we are promoting our ideology too”.
Oh, and you can put money on the fact that the NZ FPA and others will soon start suggesting that we should be doing the same thing here in NZ!
That is a classic example of Family Planning’s Orwellian dissimulation and it takes imagination to realise that she is talking about legalised murder.
For that is what the proposal is about. Sure, there are more than 18,000 surgical abortions carried out every year in hospitals and abortion clinics around the country.
But there is something frighteningly malevolent about this euphemistic Family Planning language. It implies that taking RU486 removes some sort of “thing” – a thing that has no intrinsic value; a thing to be disposed of like rubbish.
And once we, for the sake of convenience, accept that a 9-week-old tiny human baby is simply disposable rubbish, then we succumb to a lie and embrace modern barbarism.

The United Nations Population Fund stands to receive $50 million in funding from President Obama’s Omnibus spending bill, but the Population Research Institute is reporting that a recently completed investigation in three Chinese counties shows that contrary to UNFPA claims, China’s one-child policy is actively being enforced.
In an address to the civil authorities of Angola on the last day of his trip to Africa, Pope Benedict XVI noted the “bitter irony” that, in the light of the “the crushing yoke of discrimination that women and girls so often endure,” including “unspeakable” sexual violence, abortion should be presented as a solution by international “human rights” groups.
“How bitter the irony of those who promote abortion as a form of ‘maternal’ healthcare!” the pope said. “How disconcerting the claim that the termination of life is a matter of reproductive health!” Pope Benedict said.
